City : Marseille

The MUCEM, spearhead of the 2013 European capital of culture, is worth a visit both for its collections and its bold architecture.

Rudy Ricciotti, an emblematic architect native of Marseille, has perfecly won his bet, especially for the external circulation areas and the light created by this wire fence unique in the world.

The integration of the museum in the renovated Fort Saint Jean, with the creation of this footbridge, link between styles and eras, allow the visitors to enjoy an exceptional panorama.

By night, this part of the waterfront is really worth a visit. Take a step back from the j4 esplanade to observe the 180° vision that awaits you: Notre Dame, the Pharo Palace, forts, museums, the Major cathedral... We feel very small in front of so much history, and very happy to be here! Marseille as a major European and Mediterranean metropolis takes its full meaning here
