The Longchamp Palace is an art deco bistro from the 30s which offers a varied and seasonal cuisine in a back room with a lovely patio, a space that makes for years the delight of fans of the Sunday brunch.

Since summer 2014, the restaurant is hold by a new chef, Marc Ouvray, who kept the classic of the house: the beef tartare (13.5 €).

For the rest, the formula is simple. You will find a constant between meat dishes (lamb confit, ribeye - € 16), fish (gurnard in bouillabaisse, swordfish or cod - € 16) and vegetarian plate (13 €), accompanied by two to three additional dishes of the day (from 14 to 16 €).

All dishes have an inventive presentation, especially the desserts. To convince you, look at the composition of lemon meringue pie or the chocolate-cassis ganache with its tile of dark chocolate. If in doubt, we strongly recommend this last one for its smoothness and texture.

But let's be clear, beyond the fashionable and cool attitude that became the hallmark of the house, it is especially the variety of the cuisine associated with a certain quality (fresh, homemade food, not freezing) who seduced many regulars.

Sunday lunch is no exception with its brunch formula. During several years, that event was really crowded before adopting today a less frenetic attendance, which allows the patio to recover the zen athmosphere that makes all its charm.

The brunch formula is also varied and from one week to the next, you will travel between Scandinavia, Italy, England or Provence ...

Do not forget that the Longchamp Palace remains a bar, very popular during the day and even more in the evening for its festive side, a friendly side that brings an extra touch to the restaurant.

Also, do not miss this historic place, as highlighted by the beautiful mural behind the bar, a mosaic of the 30s, but that is another story...
