Title in french : Cascade du Bouquet
Type : lake & river
Mountains : Sainte-Victoire
City : Le TholonetThe Bouquet cascade, at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire, is a ten metres high cliff that creates the fall of a small stream: the Bayon .
Of course, do not expect to find water in the middle of summer, but in spring or autumn the flow is quite decent. Displayed over the width of the waterfall, the stream of water creates a beautiful screen and allows a rich vegetation to grow.
To get there, stop in the small car park in front of the DFCI sign just after the slope up between Le Bouquet and Saint Antonin-sur-Bayon. Walk down the path, cross the stream and take on the path on your right. It goes up a bit and pretty soon you will see a new path on the right that goes towards the vale.
During our last visit, we found that works were in progress, including the development of a kind of casing at the foot of the cliff. Let's hope this won't disfigure this beautiful place too much, or that it won't imply restrictions as far as the cascade is concerned...
