Title in french : Grotte de Callelongue
Type : coastline
City : MarseilleThe Cave of Callelongue is an opportunity to dive from the small harbor of the same name in a very fishy environment.
You'll follow the coast to the west to reach the first cove, then a second, with funds between -10m and -15m.
There, you'll find the entrance of the cavity, around - 8m, in the right corner of the cove. You'll come out in the middle of the cliffs, on the other side of the small cape.
To directly find the exit, stand on the rocks just after the cliffs and around 10m from the shore, look for two walls quite close that go into the ground.
Then, a beautiful blue light indicates that the hole does not seem very large, at most 4 or 5 meters. However, this beautiful invitation to go to the other side is not to be taken lightly. It is only for people familiar with this technique and with full physical capacity.
Beyond the second cove, you can continue to follow the coast to obserser many great schools of fish that operate in shallow waters.
If you expect to return by sea, attention to distances especially when the mistral is involved. Otherwise, the hiking path is just above, easily accessible.
