City : La CiotatThis dive, accessible from the coast or by boat, allows to visit the sandy bottom of the cove Grand Mugel then cross the small canyons of the Nege Froume before stopping at the drop-off of the Anse du Sec.
By boat you will anchor near the southwestern peak of the Mugel (bottom 4m). From the edge, you start from the large pebble beach of the Mugel to set course to the south. In return, you can enjoy a shower for rinsing.
At the cove Grand Mugel, keep your eyes opened on small movements in the sand, an amazing fish is at work digging with its large fins.
The next creek offers you small rocks on which you will have no difficulty to observe some octopus and rock fish such as striped goby or blenny.
Along the peak of Nege Froume, enjoy beautiful caves and boulders that give the impression to cross small canyons. Then enjoy the colorful flora that inhabit these places.
Then you discover the Anse du Sec at the foot of the Cap de l'Aigle with a drop-off about fifteen meters to sandy bottoms and many fish. So go with your head out of the water to admire the surrounding high cliffs composed of pudding ("poudingue").
This ballad sheltered from the winds is a classic in the area, ideal for beginners and initiation, often with a clear water when the sun is at the appointment.
